- To send marketing emails — based on your consent, or our legitimate interest where permitted for existing customers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
- To measure and improve our advertising, including through the Meta Pixel — based on your consent, given through our cookie banner.
- To keep our store secure and prevent fraud — our legitimate interest in protecting our business and customers.
- To comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting record-keeping.
4. Cookies and advertising
We use essential cookies required for the store to work (such as your cart and checkout). With your consent, we also use analytics and marketing cookies, including the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms, which helps us measure the performance of our ads on Facebook and Instagram and show relevant ads to people who have visited our store. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies in our cookie banner and change your choice at any time. For more on how Meta uses data, see Meta's Privacy Policy.
5. Who we share your data with
We share personal data only as needed to run our store, with:
- Shopify, which hosts our store and processes data on our behalf;
- Payment providers, to process your payment securely;
- Our fulfilment partner and shipping carriers, to prepare, ship and deliver your order and process returns (your name, address, phone number and order details);
- Meta Platforms, for advertising measurement, when you have consented;
- Authorities or advisors where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our fulfilment partner is located in China. Your personal data will therefore be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK. Where a transfer is to a country that has not been recognized as providing an adequate level of protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or, where applicable, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Some transfers, such as sending your address to our fulfilment partner to deliver your order, are necessary to perform our contract with you.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep order and transaction data for as long as required by tax and accounting laws (generally up to 7 years). Account data is kept while your account is active. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. Support messages are kept for as long as needed to resolve your request and handle any follow-up.
8. Your rights
If you are in the EEA, the UK or another region with similar laws, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, email contact@vellmont-co.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, and our store runs on Shopify's secure, encrypted platform. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
10. Children
Our store is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with its "Last updated" date.
